Happy Birthday, mummy!

Dear mummy,

Happy birthday! I am glad to find one more way to connect to you thanks to Window & internet. But the first connection between us is through my heart which you have given to me. I will not lie, I don’t miss you mom because you are always with me. You are somewhere around us 24X7, I know this. You live in our heart.. today whatever I am is just because of you. You have not only been a good mother but also a wonderful teacher, an awesome guide, an understanding wife, a supporting sister, a confidant like granny and above all a beautiful human being with golden heart.

The time we spent with you remains the best part of our lives. I remember, mumma, we all as kids used to play pranks on you and have fun seeing your reaction after that.. heehee.. I remember a very naughty prank which we used to play on you. You would be in the kitchen, preparing yummy food for us and we used to say “arey, mummy! Jaldi se saari change kijiye Tara chacha aaye hai.” and you would rush into the room to change. Later you would get to know that we were just playing a prank on you..heehee.. what fun! But mom, aap bhi kam nahi thi.. I used to say “mummy, bathroom sookh gaya hai. Humko jana hai.” Aur phir aap humko chidhate hue bhaag ke bathroom me ghus jati thi. J aur kabhi kabhi jab Gulushi di aur hum late night baat kar rahe hote the to aap chupke se aati thi aur light switch off karke chhip jati thi. Aur humlog sochte the ki kaun light off kiya hai. Baad me pata chalta tha ki wo aap thi jab humlog aapko papa ke room me hanste dekhti thi..

Haha.. so you see mummy, humlog saath me kitna masti kiye hai.. I miss all those golden moments. But as I said you are with us only, I will not break down! You are my role model. Pata hai mummy, jab bhi hum saari pehente hai to try karte hai ki hum aapke tarah hi smartly carry kar paye. I wish I could be like you but you are just awesome. No one can be like you.

Mummy, I still remember one touching moment for Nilank and me.. nilank ne ek baar fridge khola tha aur aapne jhat se unke man ki baat padhli thi aur aap turant kitchen me jaake besan ka halwa bana ke layi thi. Ye moment aaj bhi humare dilo me kaid hai.
